The 8th Edition of this classic text, now translated in seven languages, has a new co-author, Richard I. Zraick, Ph.D. Dr. Boone has made extensive revisions in the 8th edition, including deleting and adding hundreds of new references, with emphasis given to evidence-based practice. A new DVD is included, featuring the four authors in both voice evaluation and voice therapy.

Dr. Boone has authored or co-authored two introductory books to communication disorders, both published (1987 and 1993) by Prentice-Hall. Both editions of, Human Communication and its Disorders, are now out of print, but are available at libraries and used books venues.

Program for Children

Dr. Boone has developed two clinical voice programs with PRO-Ed, one for children with voice disorders and one for adults with voice problems.

The Second Edition (1993) of this program contains evaluation and voice therapy materials for children (3-14 yrs) with voice disorders. The program contains audiotape and visual materials for 12 voice therapy facilitating approaches for use with children in voice therapy.
